prof. Beata Walęciuk-Dejneka - an Expert of Ministry of Education and Science
We are pleased to inform you that the Minister of Education and Science, prof. Przemysław Czarnek appointed Beata Walęciuk-Dejneka, university professor, as an external Expert (reviewer) to evaluate applications submitted to the National Program for the Development of Humanities for 2023-2025.
NPRH creates the opportunity to finance projects of significant importance for the state's scientific and educational policy for various scientific disciplines in the field of humanities or artistic disciplines. The program includes four modules: National Heritage, Universals 2.1 and Universals 2.2, and Foundations.
Prof. Beata Walęciuk-Dejneka is a literary expert, Polish teacher and teacher of Polish as a foreign language. He has been working at the University since 2008. Scientifically, she researches the work of women (poets and writers), especially those less known or forgotten, and women's issues in literary and folklore themes of the 19th and early 19th century. 20th century, as well as the relationship between literature and law. She is the author of 4 monographs and about 100 scientific articles, published in Poland and abroad, including in high-ranking journals, and the editor of multi-author monographs in four series: Various views of women's worlds (10 monographs), Known, unknown, forgotten (4 monographs). , Literary portraits of women (4 monographs) and Literature and Law (3 monographs). In 2007-2009 and 2013-2018, she was a contractor in projects of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and the National Humanities Program ("Archives of Women: Writing"), and in 2016-2017, the project manager of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education for science dissemination activities (DUN), Internationalization module.
Prof. Beata Walęciuk-Dejneka is the head of the Center for Polish Language and Culture and the dean of the Faculty of Humanities for the 2020-2024 term.
