On July 25 - August 14, 2022, the Polish Language and Culture Center implemented another edition of the Summer School of Polish Language, financed by the National Agency for Academic Exchange.

 

In the period April - December 2022, we implemented a project entitled "Language and speech therapy workshops for students of Polish philology and teachers of Polish in Lithuania", financed by the National Agency for Academic Exchange as part of the Promotion of the Polish Language program.

For the third time in a row, we are conducting a course to prepare foreigners to study in Poland. The course is financed by the National Agency for Academic Exchange and run by the Center for Polish Language and Culture. This year, we are hosting scholarship holders of the program. General W. Anders - 60 people from Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan.

In the 2020/2021 academic year, the Center carried out an one-year preparatory course for study in Poland for foreigners - Polish government scholarship holders. The course, financed by the National Agency for Academic Exchange, was primarily aimed at increasing the competences in the field of the knowledge of the Polish language (in all skills) and transferring new and supplementing the acquired knowledge in major subjects in the fields of study selected by candidates in Poland. Moreover, the aim of this type of course is to familiarize foreigners with Poland, its history and culture.

In academic year 2019/20 the Center conducts a one-year preparatory course for candidates to study in Poland. It is intended for foreigners and the Polish Diaspora – the holders of the Polish government scholarship. The purpose of the course, first of all, is to develop Polish language skills (including all language competences) as well as to deliver new knowledge and supplement the existing one in the fields of study chosen by the candidates.

In accordance with the assumptions of the project, on December 31, 2020, we completed the project entitled "Specialist Polish language workshops for students and doctoral students of Czech Polish Studies - Palacky University in Olomouc". The project was financed by the National Agency for Academic Exchange as part of the Polish Language Promotion program.

The objective of POLONISTA programme is to promote Polish language in the world and to help foreigners studying Polish language in foreign academic centers. The programme is addressed to foreign students of Polish philology, Polish studies or Polish programmes implemented as part of Slavic studies (in the scope of Polish language, Polish culture and knowledge about Poland).

In 2019 we organized 2 summer course of Polish language and Polish culture financed by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange.

The first course lasted 3 weeks (8-29 July 2019). There were 52 participants from 18 countries, among others, from Portugal, Italy, USA, China, South Korea, Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia, Moldova, Romania, Bulgaria, Indonesia, The Netherlands, France, Belarus, Ukraine, Russia, Hungary.

In 2018 we organized 2 summer courses of Polish language and culture, financed by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange. They were a continuation of Summer Schools of Polish Language and Culture that were being organized for years by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
