Promotion of Polish Language 2020

In accordance with the assumptions of the project, on December 31, 2020, we completed the project entitled "Specialist Polish language workshops for students and doctoral students of Czech Polish Studies - Palacky University in Olomouc". The project was financed by the National Agency for Academic Exchange as part of the Polish Language Promotion program.

The workshops, despite the on-line form, were very popular among the participants. Thanks to internet connections using the Google Meet tool, the Centre's teachers gathered many Czech students in front of the monitors who wanted to learn the secrets of the Polish language. The classes covered the issues of specialist Polish language, including: business, medical, journalistic and legal language in various versions and communication, discursive and textual varieties.

As part of the project, participants were provided with textbooks for learning Polish for foreigners in the field of business and journalistic language, as well as promotional materials for the Polish Language Promotion Program.
