In academic year 2019/20 the Center conducts a one-year preparatory course for candidates to study in Poland. It is intended for foreigners and the Polish Diaspora – the holders of the Polish government scholarship. The purpose of the course, first of all, is to develop Polish language skills (including all language competences) as well as to deliver new knowledge and supplement the existing one in the fields of study chosen by the candidates.

Moreover, the purpose of the course is to familiarize foreigners with Poland – its history and culture. Therefore the course programme includes the following subjects and activities:

• Polish language course, including specialist language, and major subjects,
• knowledge about Poland, including various activities during trips, visits to museums or monuments,
• films,
• theatre plays,
• integration meetings and trips,
• trips around the region and Poland.
