In the 2020/2021 academic year, the Center carried out an one-year preparatory course for study in Poland for foreigners - Polish government scholarship holders. The course, financed by the National Agency for Academic Exchange, was primarily aimed at increasing the competences in the field of the knowledge of the Polish language (in all skills) and transferring new and supplementing the acquired knowledge in major subjects in the fields of study selected by candidates in Poland. Moreover, the aim of this type of course is to familiarize foreigners with Poland, its history and culture.

The following obligatory activities were included in the course program: Polish language course, including specialist courses, courses in major subjects for studies, and a block of lessons in knowledge about Poland.

This year's course also included, inter alia, integration trips, a trip to Warsaw, participation in the Polish Christmas Eve with the staging of nativity plays. Unfortunately, due to sanitary restrictions related to the COVID-19 pandemic, some of the scheduled points of the course program were replaced by online events (including participation in the JACKONALIA 2021 Student Culture Days).

Nearly 60 people from countries such as Belarus, Ukraine, Romania, Brazil, Nigeria and Indonesia participated in the 2020/2021 edition course.
