Project of The Ministry of Foreign Affairs 2014: Being Friends with Polish Language – Summer at University
As part of a contest announced by the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs: Cooperation with the Polish Diaspora and Poles Living Abroad a Polish language and culture camp for youths from Żytomierz, Ukraine was organized from 3rd till 10th of July 2014 at Siedlce University of Natural Sciences and Humanities (Faculty of Humanities, Institute of Polish Philology and Applied Linguistics).
The participants of the camp were students of a weekend school operating next to the District Association of Poles in Żytomierz, Ukraine.
They participated in a block of didactic activities: Polish language classes, lectures on literature and history, cultural activities such as trips, educational tours, etc. Additionally the aim of the project was to integrate young people from Ukraine with Polish students.
The person responsible for the project was Prof. Beata Walęciuk-Dejneka, PhD.
