Summer Courses of Polish Language and Culture 2018
In 2018 we organized 2 summer courses of Polish language and culture, financed by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange. They were a continuation of Summer Schools of Polish Language and Culture that were being organized for years by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
In the first, 4-week-long course (1-29 July 2018) we hosted 57 students from 20 countries: Guinea, Azerbaijan, Armenia, China, Belarus, Macedonia, Romania, Taiwan, Russia, Egypt, Hungary, Czech Republic, Georgia, Serbia, Thailand, Ukraine, Turkey, Morocco and France.
In the second, three-week-long (1-22 August 2018) we had 56 participants from 23 countries: Afghanistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bulgaria, Chile, China, Czech Republic, Estonia, France, Germany, Greece, Morocco, Moldavia, Russia, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Taiwan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Hungary and Italy.
During their stay in Poland the participants of the courses intensively learnt Polish language at different levels, extended their knowledge about Polish history and culture, learnt Polish songs and dances, took part in numerous local and regional trips, integrating with each other and with the local community.
