We've started the 3rd Preparatory Course to Study in Poland
On October 14, we've opened the 3rd Preparatory Course to Study in Poland, financed by the National Agency for Academic Exchange.
The meeting was attended by the associates of the Center for Polish Language and Polish Culture, including teachers and a group of 10 foreign students who will be learning Polish and specialization subjects for the next 10 months, to start regular studies at a Polish university in the next year. The course is attended by students from Belarus, Ukraine and Kazakhstan. There are over 870 hours of classes ahead of them, including lessons in Polish, biology, chemistry and geography. At the meeting, participants received teaching materials and small gifts from the organizers. The meeting ended with a joint lunch of Polish cuisine.
Throughout the course, students will also take part in lectures on knowledge about Poland, sightseeing trips, cultural events and integration games.
The course manager is prof. assoc. Beata Walęciuk-Dejneka - head of the Polish Language and Culture Center.
Major subjects are run by: prof. assoc. Marzena Stańska - biology; Waldemar Wysocki, PhD and Bartosz Michalczuk, PhD - chemistry, Mirosław Meksuła, PhD - geography.
