In 1999, UNESCO established the International Mother Language Day which we celebrate on February 21. This day is already celebrated in the world for the 21st time. The message of the holiday is to protect mother tongues, promote multilingualism and emphasize the value of language education. This day was celebrated for the first time in 2000.
Dr. Julia Ulasiuk from Brest, who is a scholarship holder of The Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange as part of ʻSolidary with Belarusʼ scholarship programme, is a guest at Siedlce University of Natural Sciences and Humanities and at The Center for Polish Language and Culture.
In accordance with the assumptions of the project, on December 31, 2020, we completed the project entitled "Specialist Polish language workshops for students and doctoral students of Czech Polish Studies - Palacky University in Olomouc". The project was financed by the National Agency for Academic Exchange as part of the Polish Language Promotion program.
Methodological online workshops in Polish for teachers from Ukraine were conducted by the employees of OJPiKP. The workshops were prepared in cooperation with the General Consulate of the Republic of Poland in Łuck. The workshops were aimed at improving the qualifications of Polish language teachers in Ukraine.

Our Center, in cooperation with the Palacky University in Olomouc organizes workshops in specialist Polish. It is NAWA’s program - "Promotion of the Polish language".
The meeting with NAWA’s scholarship holders was held on 12/10/2020 at the Faculty of Humanities and the Faculty of Social Sciences of our University.

We are pleased to announce that as 1 of 8 centers in Poland, we will be implementing preparatory course for foreigners who want to study at Polish universities, granted by National Agency for Academic Exchange. In the 2020/21 academic year, 60 people from abroad in total will take part in the UPH course in Siedlce.
