On 30th June 2020 we ended a Preparatory course for studying in Poland, commissioned by the Polish National Agency For Academic Exchange. The participants of the course were 49 holders of the scholarship of the Polish government from 9 countries: Belarus, Ethiopia, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Mexico, Myanmar, Nigeria, Peru and Ukraine.
Due to the announcement of the epidemic threat state in Poland and suspension of all academic classes in order to reduce the risk of spreading the virus Covid-19, the education methods at the Preparatory Course had to be changed from stationary to distant.
On Tuesday 11th February 2020 at the University Center for Culture an Evening of Cultures for the participants of the Preparatory Course took place. The event was the last element of cultural and integrating activities of the 1st semester (autumn semester) at Siedlce University of Natural Sciences and Humanities.
During autumn semester of academic year 2019/20 we hosted at our university three POLONISTA programme scholarship holders granted by NAWA. They were students from Zaporoże University in Ukraine: Valeriia Donia, Mykhailo Khalashy and Pavlo Khalashy. They took their 2nd year of first-cycle studies here.
We are pleased to inform that The Center for Polish Language and Culture was granted financial resources in NAWA programme “Promotion of Polish Language”.
We are pleased to announce that in 2020 the examination tests for the Polish Diaspora around the world, both in Polish language (B2 level according to CEFR), and major subjects (History, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Geography) will be prepared by a group of employees of The Centre for Polish Language and Culture in cooperation with The Institute of Linguistics and Literary Studies.
On 14th December a traditional Polish Christmas Eve dinner for the participants of the Preparatory Course at Siedlce University of Natural Sciences and Humanities took place.
On 23rd November the participants of the Preparatory Course together with their counselors took part in a 2-day trip to Toruń. It was another event organized as part of the Preparatory Course for foreigners who would like to begin studies in Poland.
On 24th October 2019 an official inauguration of the Preparatory Course for studying in Poland in the academic year 2019/20 took place at Siedlce University of Natural Sciences and Humanities. The project is financed by the the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange.
