Examinations in Polish as a foreign language

We are pleased to inform you that, by decision of the Minister of Science and Higher Education (No. 16/DWM/2025, dated July 7, 2025), the University of Siedlce (Centre for Polish Language and Culture) has once again been granted the right to organize and conduct examinations in Polish as a foreign language at levels B1, B2, C1, and C2, in groups adapted to the needs of adults.

The decision was issued following a positive recommendation by the State Commission for the Certification of Proficiency in Polish as a Foreign Language regarding the application submitted by Associate Professor Beata Walęciuk-Dejneka, PhD, Director of the Centre for Polish Language and Culture at the University of Siedlce. Consequently, our University has been included among the institutions authorized to organize state examinations in Polish as a foreign language.

Additionally, the State Commission for the Certification of Proficiency in Polish as a Foreign Language informs that during the examination session scheduled for November 15–16 of this year, an additional examination at level B2 – in the group adapted to the needs of adults – will be introduced.

In view of the above, we inform you that registration for the Polish language examination at levels B1 and B2 at the Centre for Polish Language and Culture in Siedlce will open on September 15 and will continue until October 15 of this year, or until all places are filled.

Applications for the examination will be accepted exclusively through the registration form available at: https://ojp.uws.edu.pl/oferta/egzaminy-certyfikowane
